Systems designer and integrator, Dwight Crumb believes that each system is unique and must be custom fitted to the needs and budgets of the people involved. His work as a production engineer and editor helps him to understand the special requirements of a television system. A sample of the stations designed are: KPSP a new CBS affiliate in Palm Springs where the time from start of design to on air was a short 5 months, WLWT an NBC affiliate in Cincinnati, KITV in Honolulu, the nation’s first licensed commercial digital facility, KTVU/KICU a duopoly in Oakland, WALA a Fox affiliate in Mobile, Delta College broadcasting 5 channels in Michigan and KHON Fox TV in Honolulu. These systems range from small market to Top 10. Dwight was Vice President of Engineering for Digital System Technology from April of 2000 until they moved to Atlanta In October of 2003. When consulting on a project, Dwight and Janet bring to it their experience as both a system operators and designers. Santa Anita's $7,000,000 Broadcast Center and the City of Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza are a couple of projects. |
